Power Hour 1 – A one hour class taught in a warm, but not hot room. This class will give you a healthy foundation for a beginning yoga practice. You will learn to move through a series of yoga poses that will stretch, tone, and flex muscles throughout your entire body. You don’t have to know anything about yoga to jump into this class.
Power Hour 2 –Taught in a heated room, but only to 90 degrees. You will build on the foundation created in PH1. You will sweat and be physically challenged. Level 2 is athletic, yet spiritually uplifting. The structure of this class prepares you for the ultimate challenge, Power 90.
Power 90 - You will utilize all the tools given to you in Power Hour 1 and 2. We put it all together here: breath, sweat, alignment, and concentration into a soul-shining flow. The flow is designed to squeeze stress and tension out of your body and deliver you to an overall state of lightness and brightness.
Gentle Power – This is a class that will build strength, but also rejuvenate energy levels. Your 75 minutes will be split between a beautiful flow, followed by yin/gentle practice. This class is held at 80 degrees.
Happy Hour Yoga – This class is also heated 85- 90 degrees. It is a $5 let go of work mind cleansing body wash. It is taught by our amazing student teachers to offer an economical community yoga class to anyone and everyone.
Infuse - In this Jivamukti-inspired class we will explore devotional chanting, pranayama (breath control), dhyana (centering) and a unique blend of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) to warm up the body and move toward strength by refining the alignment and holding the asanas (poses). Combining these elements of body/mind/spirit with great music and hands on adjustments will leave you feeling complete and balanced!
Restorative Yoga –A powerful and rejuvenating 60-minute class designed to release muscle tension starting at the base of the spine and moving upward. By the end of your first class you will feel the changes in your body: greater flexibility, reduced stress, greater energy, mental clarity and deeper sleep. This class is appropriate for all levels and ages. It is included in all monthly contract packages including the senior package.
SilverSneakers Classic - Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing and a SilverSneakers ball are used for resistance. A chair is available if needed for support.
Note: We believe that anyone and everyone can benefit greatly from a yoga practice. We have seen people get healthy in just a few months from a committed yoga practice. People report everything from lower blood pressure and weight loss to headache and old pain relief. Depending on your health and physical ability, we recommend you begin with Power Hour 1 or Gentle Yoga. For best results, we encourage you to come at least three times per week for ten weeks.
