We are always working to provide powerful events, workshops and retreats that help us all feel a sense of belonging, compassion and service to our community!
Events are usually one day community oriented and often organized to bring awareness to a need or issue, either local or global. An example would be when Arizona Power Yoga organized 108 Sun Salutations at Cross Roads Park to help raise over $2000 for the Gulf Oil Spill Clean-up in 2010.
Workshops are essential for continuing to expand your yoga practice, develop a deeper understanding of yoga poses, yoga philosophy and overall wellbeing. They are offered as educational tools. Workshops are designed to bring you to new places of self discovery! They are taught in an open forum where discussions and questions are encouraged. It’s where we can step out of a regular class structure
and break into new territory of body and mind! A few examples are:
Inversion and Arm Balancing Workshop, Hips and Core Workshop, All Day Yoga Immersion, Nutrition to Ignite Your Spirit, and more.
Retreats are a few days to a week long. Our retreats are designed to take you on a journey of self discovery. They are the perfect get away or “the healthiest vacation you’ll ever take.” We offer retreats often surrounded by natural beauty. We encourage people to unplug from our digital world and plug into nature. Masterful yoga practices and peaceful meditations combined with healthy meals and comfortable rooms will leave you mentally clear, stress free and physically empowered! These retreats often provoke people to take action and make positive life choices. They are for anyone who wants to get grounded, centered and refocused!
