    Our next Teacher Training Program: Feb 11th- April 22nd 2011

     We will meet Fridays, 6-10pm; Saturdays, 9am-6pm;

    and Sunday 12-6pm.

    Our belief at Arizona School of Yoga is that our own body already contains all the information and wisdom we need for a happy healthy life. Yoga is the participation in our own life. Teaching yoga allows people to take an active role in health and well-being on all levels. The journey into teaching always begins with the teacher as a student. Teaching yoga is a beautiful and healthy way to serve humanity. It requires commitment and the celebration of life.

    If this is your calling, congratulations and welcome! Our Teacher Training program is uniquely designed to take students into a personal revolution that enables “one” to teach from their own experience.
    This is the only Program in Tucson like this! Students will be encouraged and supported to utilize their own gifts to teach yoga artistically and authentically.

    As teachers in training we will learn techniques and ultimately use our skills and knowledge of the body through self understanding and personal development. This program and your personal practice will initiate an honest and truthful inventory of oneself. We will use this experience as a foundation to grow in our practice and our teaching. You will learn how to read and speak to people’s bodies.

    Our program meets and exceeds the requirements for a registered yoga teacher (RYT) at the 200 hour level through the Yoga Alliance.

    Here’s what some of our April 2010 Grauduates had to say!

    “Words cannot describe how the yoga teacher training changed my life. This
    training is unlike any other in that it does not just teach you the poses
    and their names. It also shows you how to be more authentic and make
    changes in order to improve your life all around. I found out more about
    myself in those few months than I thought I ever could. It really exceeded
    my expectations and has given me more passion to share yoga with others. My practice also improved greatly.
    To say that the Arizona School of Yoga is exemplary is an understatement. I
    am a better person for have taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity!”

    “My experience with the Yoga Teacher Training Program has been life changing and I want to thank you for making that possible.  I truly appreciate your positive and caring intentions, expertise and design of a space where transformation can occur for me and others. You have helped open my heart and mind in a more deep, reflective and loving way to myself and others.”

      ”I am so grateful for Arizona School of Yoga.  I was hesitant to sign up for yoga teacher training.  I thought I wasn’t good enough or young enough.  I was also concerned about the time commitment.  Sometimes you just have to take a chance in life and words really can’t express how much I got out of teacher training.I expected to learn how to teach yoga, I expected my personal practice to improve, I expected to learn about alignment and anatomy and all this happened.  What I didn’t expect was a total personal transformation.  I am a completely different person.  At times I do not even recognize myself.  My life has truly transformed.I always thought of myself as a cynical New Yorker, but through teacher training and yoga I have learned that I am actually a positive, upbeat and content person.  I can’t even believe these words describe me but they do.  A real life changing experience.”
